Abstract

|
Objective: The purpose of study was to verify the effect of a Korean computer-based cognitive rehabilitation program(Cotras) for recovering the cognitive function and basic¡¤instrumental activities of daily living in community stroke patients.
Methods: This study was conducted at G city from April 2017 to July with community stroke patients. Eleven patients with experimental group given Korean computer-based cognitive rehabilitation program(Cotras) intervention, eleven patients with control group given traditional cognitive therapy for 30 minutes per session two times a week for total ten weeks. Before and after intervention, we compared cognitive function and basic¡¤instrumental activities of daily living we undertook MMSE-K, LOTCA, K-MBI and K-IADL.
Result: Experimental group presented significant statistical difference more improve cognitive function(MMSE-K, LOTCA) and basic activities of daily living(K-MBI) compared to control group(p<.05).
Conclusion: Korean computer-based cognitive rehabilitation program(Cotras) was improve cognitive function and basic activities of daily living for community stroke patients.
